Gateway Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evalyn Snider, who scored nine points.
Adrianna Reynolds continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Portsmouth Christian, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 19 rebounds. Reynolds is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last five games she's played. Delani Nash was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Gateway Christian dropped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.0 points per game. As for Portsmouth Christian, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14.
