Kayleigh Ballance had a dynamite game, going 10-for-23 to rack up 25 points in addition to eight steals and seven rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.8 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Michelle Cole, who posted five points and 16 boards.

Unity Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Mount Calvary Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Bethel Assembly Christian Academy last Friday and fell 41-38.

Unity Christian Academy will have to contain Riley Tuten as she made an impact in Mount Calvary Christian Academy's last game. She dropped a double-double with 32 points and 11 rebounds. Tuten's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Dakota Honeycutt also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Unity Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Mount Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Unity Christian Academy has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 24.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Mount Calvary Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.2 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
