It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fountain Inn had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the Hilton Head Island Seahawks as they made off with a 17-1 win. The Fury might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Brayden Passmore looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Fountain Inn got a massive performance out of Dominick Stopa, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Stopa a new career-high. Miles Barbrey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Fountain Inn is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Hilton Head Island, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.
