Basketball Recap: Christian Ministries Academy Snaps 12-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Christian Ministries Academy was feeling good fresh off their 67-46 takedown of Valley Christian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abundant Life Owls on Tuesday. It was the first time this season that the Conquerors let down their fans at home.

Christian Ministries Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nolan Bradshaw, who went 9 of 17 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds. The match was Bradshaw's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Hicks, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards.

Christian Ministries Academy's loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-4. As for Abundant Life, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
