Cibastian Broughton Turns in Season-Best Performance
Cibastian Broughton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Fleming Island to the win on Friday. Broughton rushed for 191 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 148 yards on 12 of 22 attempts. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.
The win (which was Fleming Island's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3. Broughton and Fleming Island will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jackson Posts Huge Game in 35-28 Victory
Demhir Jackson was instrumental in extending Fleming Island's winning streak to five on Friday. Mosley had no answer to Jackson as he rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Jackson's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards.
This year, Jackson has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 122.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Another Game with at Least 101 Rushing Yards from Brian Case
Brian Case put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September on Friday. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 101 rushing yards in the seventh games prior. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 69 yards.
The win was the sixth in a row for Ponte Vedra, bringing their record for this year to 9-2. Case and Ponte Vedra will take on Niceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Drew Price's big game helped extend Ponte Vedra's winning streak to six on Friday. Price was dynamite, throwing for 244 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt.
