Maiden's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Newton-Conover, their loss dropped their record down to 18-6.
Maiden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 73-57 defeat against East Burke on the 21st. Newton-Conover does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
