Ballard had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past Boone with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 34-15. That result is just more of the same for Ballard, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Ballard a 1-0 record and starting Boone off at 0-1.
Next week, Ballard take on Dallas Center-Grimes at 7:30 PM. As for Boone, they will face of against Newton.
