Basketball Recap: Sunbright Piles Up the Points Against Mount Pisgah Christian Academy

The third road matchup was the charm for Sunbright, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, posting a 73-39 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 34 points or more this season.

Sunbright was led to victory by Noah Bunch and Garrett Rogers. Bunch posted 24 points, while Rogers scored 24 points. With that strong performance, Bunch is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Levi Walker was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Sunbright's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunbright will head out to challenge Harriman at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sunbright is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Berean Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Berean Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mount Pisgah Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
