The King's Academy Lions entered their tilt with the Elite Academy Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead King's Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ransom Soles, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Matt Mcpherson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
King's Academy pushed their record up to 18-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Elite Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.
King's Academy has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. One thing working in Berean Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games. Elite Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. Somerset Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 571st, while the Eagles are ranked 141st).
