Foard waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the West Iredell Warriors 15-0. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.
Karsyn Sigmon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, she posted four RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mattie Leonhardt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Gabby Sutcliffe was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
