The biggest upset of the week belonged to Umatilla, who took down 290th ranked Umatilla, 33-0.
Keystone Heights's Alex Gonzales rumbled for the longest rushing play in 4A District 4 this season in his game against Weeki Wachee last week. Gonzales' team bested the Hornets as he sprinted for 73 yards on the play and finished with 178 in all.
Joseph Huggins put up the best numbers through the air as the Bulldogs lost to Bradford. He finished with five completions for 70 yards. Huggins' favorite target this week was Jesse Hall, who caught two passes for 31 yards.
Jonathan King was the best wideout in the league this week as Weeki Wachee fell to Keystone Heights. King racked up three receptions for 54 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Bobby LaRouca of Mount Dora is the league leader in passing yards this season with 565. He has also thrown two touchdowns. On the ground, Chuck Dickinson's team's Gonzales has rushed for 612 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Dillon Streeter. The Umatilla star has 11 catches for 259 yards.
A big matchup in 4A District 4 this week will be when the Tornadoes take on South Sumter. At the moment, Bradford is in fourth, while the Raiders are in first.
There should be lots of points scored when Umatilla and the Indians face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Rodney Torrance's team comes in having scored 134 this season, while Keystone Heights has scored 110. The Bulldogs scored 0 points last week as they lost to Steve Reynolds's team.
The Tornadoes moved up to 264 from 313 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Bradford was able to make the jump by beating Umatilla 33-0.
