Clinton will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Broome at 6:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Clinton had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 18-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Laurens.
Meanwhile, Broome took care of business in their home opener. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Woodruff 23-22.
Broome's win lifted them to 1-0 while Clinton's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Broome can add another positive mark to their record or if Clinton can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Broome's step.
