Salem lost against St. Thomas More back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Sabers by a score of 3-2. Salem's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Shelby Johnson and Jordan Kessler scored both of Salem's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for St. Thomas More, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Salem has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Richland County on the 12th. As for St. Thomas More, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Danville on the 12th.
