Weldon Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was August Filter out in front who shot 43% from the field on his way to 23 points. Filter continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Dane Johnston was another key player, going 6-for-12 to rack up 12 points along with six boards and four blocks.
Bethune has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. Weldon Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-15.
