Plattsmouth's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Gage Olsen, who scored 16 points, and Derek Nanke who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds. Olsen scored a full 32% of Plattsmouth's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Traceson Skalberg, who scored 8 points.
Plattsmouth's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Blair, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Plattsmouth won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Auburn at 7:30 p.m. on December 9th. Auburn presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Plattsmouth in Nebraska (Auburn is ranked 40th, while Plattsmouth is ranked 234th). As for Blair, they will head out on the road to face off against Hastings at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
