They claimed a resounding 53-12 victory over Sunnybrook Christian at home. Winning may never get old, but Founders Classical Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Founders Classical Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Savannah Whyle, who scored 20 points along with five steals. Whyle is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Penelope Whyle was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
Founders Classical Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Sunnybrook Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Founders Classical Academy will take on Lifegate Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sunnybrook Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Salem Sayers Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sunnybrook Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
