Everything went their way against Mastery Charter North - Pickett on Tuesday as Abington Friends made off with a 62-42 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Abington Friends also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Despite the loss, Mastery Charter North - Pickett saw an underclassman step up: Jacob Mitchell scored 13 points. Mitchell scored a full 31% of Mastery Charter North - Pickett's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kush Dunbar, who scored 8 points.
Abington Friends' victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Mastery Charter North - Pickett, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Abington Friends will be playing at home against Marina at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mastery Charter North - Pickett, they will head out on the road to face off against Audenried at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
