The Minatare Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 54-29 defeat at the hands of Arthur County. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Minatare in their matchups with Arthur County: they've now lost four in a row.
Minatare's loss came despite strong showings from Jackson Schwartz and Dionicio Hernandes. Schwartz dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds, while Hernandes scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Minatare's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Arthur County, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
Minatare will head out on the road to face off against Potter-Dix on Tuesday. Hopefully Potter-Dix focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. Arthur County will be home for the holidays to greet Leyton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
