Oneonta had to settle for second on Saturday, but Kash Key sure wasn't going down easily. Key made a splash, striking out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Clay-Chalkville last Thursday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Key has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Key and Oneonta will head out on the road to face off against Guntersville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Key's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Oneonta's six-game streak of wins at home.
