Kapaun Mt. Carmel extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Rocco Keller. The Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders snuck past the Northwest Grizzlies with a 75-70 win on Friday for which the team can thank Keller, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 13 boards. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high.
The team also got some help courtesy of Jude Porter, who posted nine points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last eight games he's played.
Northwest's loss came despite strong showings from Elijah Benning and River Peters. Benning went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc to rack up 22 points, while Peters put up 18 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Franklin Ekue, who had eight points and eight boards.
