Riverside is a perfect 6-0 against Irvin since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Riverside will venture away from home to square off against Irvin at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Riverside has three straight victories, Irvin has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Riverside made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ysleta, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Riverside blew past Ysleta 15-5 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Rangers, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Muniz wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Riverside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Irvin came up short against Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy on Friday, falling 14-4.
Kimberly De La Torre made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season.
The win got Riverside back to even at 11-11. As for Irvin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Riverside has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .490. However, it's not like Irvin struggles in that department as they've averaged .539. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Riverside's way against Irvin when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Riverside made off with a 17-5 victory. Will Riverside repeat their success, or does Irvin has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
