Even though the Bulloch Academy Gators have not done well against the Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Bulloch Academy put the hurt on Robert Toombs Christian Academy with a sharp 64-41 win. With that win, Bulloch Academy brought their scoring average up to 52 points per game.
It was another big night for Jackson Sheppard, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Bulloch Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keonte Mayner, who scored 12 points.
Bulloch Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bulloch Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Claxton at 5:30 p.m. on December 9th. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, they will take on Frederica Academy at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th.
