Baseball Recap: Chouteau-Mazie Beats Chelsea for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Chouteau-Mazie entered their tilt with Chelsea on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Dragons. The Wildcats not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 3rd.

Lucas Grossman was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Garcie, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Chouteau-Mazie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Chouteau-Mazie's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Chelsea, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Coincidentally, Chouteau-Mazie and Chelsea will both be playing Afton the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dragons will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
