In what's become a running theme this season, the Longmont Trojans gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They put the hurt on Mead with a sharp 54-29 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Longmont had established a 21 point advantage.
Longmont had a senior duo take command as Cole Gaddis scored 14 points and Cole Corner scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolby Holmes, who scored five points.
Despite the defeat, Mead had strong showings from Dominic McLawrence, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and two blocks, and George Hubert, who scored nine points. Max Morrow was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Longmont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Mead, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-5.
Longmont will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Wizards at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Windsor's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matches. As for Mead, they will take on the Mountain Lions at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Mountain View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Thursday.
