Baseball Recap: Stevens Comes Up Short

Stevens lost against Warren last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Stevens fell 4-1 to Warren. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Vargas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Warren, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Stevens will square off against rival Sotomayor at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Warren is set to challenge their familiar foe Taft at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
