Falcon is a perfect 10-0 against Sand Creek since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Falcon will be strutting in after a win while Sand Creek will be coming in after a loss.
On Tuesday, Falcon made easy work of Mitchell and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Falcon took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8, 25-8.

Eva Hamilton went supernova, getting six digs and six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Danika Steel, who had 12 digs and three assists.
They weren't the only good servers: Falcon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Sand Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Elizabeth. While the Scorpions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cardinals 25-20 in the first set.
Sand Creek wouldn't go down easily and took Elizabeth into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-9, 15-7.
Sand Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Falcon, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
Falcon beat Sand Creek 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
