If The Central Dauphin Rams were feeling good off their 49-20 takedown of the Central Dauphin East Panthers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Central Dauphin suffered a tough 47-21 defeat at the hands of Harrisburg on Friday. Central Dauphin was down 40-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Although Central Dauphin took the loss, they still got scores from Kyle Mccullough, Miles Copper, and Key'Ron Plummer.
Shawn Lee got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. Quincy Brannon was another key contributor, throwing for 153 yards and a touchdown.
Central Dauphin's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Harrisburg, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Central Dauphin will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Central York at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Central York will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. Harrisburg will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cedar Crest at 1:00 p.m. on November 11th. Cedar Crest is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
