The Calhoun Yellow Jackets pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 91-57 loss at the hands of Rome. Calhoun was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-28.
Calhoun's loss came despite strong showings from Emaree Winston and Landon Chattam. Winston dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Chattam scored 14 points. The game was Chattam's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Streete, who scored six points along with five assists.
This is the second loss in a row for Calhoun and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Rome, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
