Gleason barely beat Fulton County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Pilots an 18-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Gleason let Addy Black and Sophie Beasley run wild. Black went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Beasley went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Black also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Kami Thomas was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Gleason always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Gleason back to even at 8-8. As for Fulton County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gleason will host South Fulton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.12 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fulton County, they will welcome Hickman County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
