Baseball Recap: Pensacola Christian Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Pensacola Christian Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Aletheia Christian Academy Lions, sneaking past 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Micah Gettle was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaydon McClure, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Pensacola Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pensacola Christian Academy and Aletheia Christian Academy will both be playing Atmore Christian the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
