Avon was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Peru on Tuesday. The Avon Orioles blew past the Peru Tigers 63-16. The Orioles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Jedidiah Minnett was his usual excellent self, shooting 82% from the field to rack up 21 points and five rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 53% in the last four games he's played. DeAndre Lott-Hancock was another key player, going 5-for-6 on his way to 10 points and seven boards.

Avon was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They are a perfect 17-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Despite the loss, Peru still got an impressive performance from Xavier Turner, who posted ten points.

Avon's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Peru, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Avon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-51 win against Indianapolis Shortridge on the 27th. As for Peru, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 79-35 victory against Wabash on the 28th.
