Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South). They took down the Firestone Falcons 66-50 on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

South's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Firestone, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

South will take on Rocky River in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Rocky River's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Firestone and Garfield Community Learning Center will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Garfield Community Learning Center will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Firestone surely won't give up without a fight.
