Rudder lost to College Station back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Rudder Rangers strolled past the College Station Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 54-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Rudder's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kayden Holmes, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Randon Cooks, who posted nine points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Rudder's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for College Station, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Rudder will challenge Brenham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rudder is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season. As for College Station, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the College Station Cougars face off against the Lake Creek Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully College Station likes a good challenge.
