It was a good run, but Beloit unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Nemaha Central Thunder. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Beloit's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lundyn Knight, who had 13 digs and two assists, and Mckenna Channell, who had six digs.

Beloit's loss dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Nemaha Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-13.

Beloit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Smith Center on the 4th. As for Nemaha Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Riley County on the 4th.
