The Palm Desert Aztecs can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They slipped by Palm Springs 14-13. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Palm Desert also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Palm Desert found their leader in underclassman Aj Rivera, who rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns.
Palm Desert's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB 5.5 times. Leading the way was Darius Pine and his two sacks.
Palm Desert's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Palm Springs, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-7.
Palm Desert does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palm Springs also has no future games currently scheduled.
