Resurrection Christian (Loveland, Colo.) defeated
Cornerstone Christian Academy (Westminster, Colo.) 57-30 on Saturday.
The Cougars were up 50-14 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Evan Anderson in the first quarter.
The Bulldogs'
Evan Ice played well. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for two touchdowns.
Mondt stood out for Resurrection Christian in the win. The sophomore quarterback kicked four extra points. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
RC also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 42-0.
Cornerstone Christian Academy (1-6) will play a 1A North Central game against Yuma next week, while Resurrection Christian (4-3) will take on Wray also in a 1A North Central game.
