Crossroads Christian and Lee Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Crossroads Christian Colts will venture away from home to square off against the Lee Christian Falcons at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

They breezed by Bradford Academy to the tune of 65-17. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 36 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Elyssa Phillips, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 13 steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leanna Wimsatt, who posted 11 points and eight steals.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lee Christian). They blew past Cape Fear Christian Academy 72-37 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Crossroads Christian better focus on containing Kaleigh Wilson and Madison Mashburn as the pair were huge in Lee Christian's win. Wilson dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Mashburn went 9 of 19 on her way to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Mashburn is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Elayna McFarland, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.
Lee Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 2 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 7.3.
Crossroads Christian pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.6 points. As for Lee Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Crossroads Christian hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 55.7 points per game. It's a different story for Lee Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 33 points. The only thing between Crossroads Christian and another offensive beatdown is Lee Christian. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for Crossroads Christian against Lee Christian in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 55-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crossroads Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
