The Maloney Spartans waltzed into Friday's matchup with five straight wins but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Conard 38-7 at home. Maloney might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six games by 24 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maloney to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Nedinsky, who threw for 200 yards and five touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Jesus Martell, who picked up 94 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Maloney pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.33 points. As for Conard, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Maloney will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Platt at 10:30 a.m. on November 23rd. Platt will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Conard, they will head out on the road to face off against Hall at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
