The Grassfield Grizzlies's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hylton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. One thing working in Grassfield's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Last Thursday, the stars were shining brightly for Grassfield in a 58-39 victory over Grafton. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Grassfield has scored all season.
Grassfield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mya Davis out in front who scored 14 points. Davis also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Amaya Fisher, who scored 11 points along with five assists and five steals.
Meanwhile, Hylton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by Freedom 53-10. Hylton has not had much luck with Freedom recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Grassfield's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Hylton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
