The Inspired Vision EAGLES suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Trinity Leadership, falling 91-44. Inspired Vision was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-19.
Trinity Leadership got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caron McGee out in front who scored 14 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Matthew Maiden, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Inspired Vision's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Trinity Leadership, they pushed their record up to 11-15 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Inspired Vision will head out on the road to face off against Gateway Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Khing Williams and Tyree Sheffield. Trinity Leadership will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Life Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
