Dover entered their tilt with Paris on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Pirates have won three matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Dover back to even at 4-4. As for Paris, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Dover wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-6 loss against Booneville on the 19th. As for Paris, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Westside on the 20th.
