The Midview Middies suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They were dealt a 73-37 loss at the hands of North Ridgeville. Midview was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.
It was another big night for Grace Kingery, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds for North Ridgeville. Kingery is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Lime, who scored seven points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Midview's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for North Ridgeville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
Midview will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Avon at 12:30 p.m. Hopefully Avon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Wednesday. As for North Ridgeville, they will head out on the road to square off against Lakewood at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Lakewood is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
