Crown Point is 9-1 against Chazy since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Crown Point is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Crown Point gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over Boquet Valley. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 15 runs or more this season.

Kaitlin Ross made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
In other batting news, Crown Point got a massive performance out of Makenna Munson, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That triple was Munson's first of the season. Addison Hurlburt was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
Crown Point kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Chazy came out on top against Bolton Central by a score of 6-2.
Kennedy Columbus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Emma Howell was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Carly Lapierre, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Crown Point's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.3 runs over those games. As for Chazy, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Crown Point has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Chazy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Crown Point took their victory against Chazy in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 19-0 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
