Walters won the last time they faced Comanche, and things went their way on Friday, too. Walters made easy work of Comanche and carried off a 47-14 win. Walters were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Walters started the matchup off right with 27 first-half points. Meanwhile, Comanche couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 27-0 heading into the break. The Walters defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The victory bumped their record up to 3-0. The loss dropped Comanche's record to 1-2.
Next week Walters take on Ringling at 7:30 PM. As for Comanche, they will face off against Marietta.
