The South Plantation Paladins waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against St. Brendan by a score of 61-52.
Harry Gelin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lathan Coleman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
South Plantation is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for St. Brendan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6.
South Plantation does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Brendan will be playing in front of their home fans against Doral Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
