If The Hidden Valley Titans were riding high off their 30-6 takedown of the Blacksburg Bruins last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Hidden Valley ended up on the wrong side of a rough 41-19 walloping at the hands of Pulaski County on Friday. Hidden Valley lost against Pulaski County in their previous head to head back in September of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 41-7 score last time.
Despite the loss, Hidden Valley still got an impressive performance from Brayden Moore, who threw for 296 yards and three touchdowns. Jackson Getz was another key contributor, picking up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Trevor Gallimore got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 229 yards and five touchdowns. Gallimore is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Hidden Valley's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. As for Pulaski County, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hidden Valley will take on Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Patrick Henry is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games. As for Pulaski County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cave Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Virginia (Cave Spring is ranked 161st, while Pulaski County is ranked 149th).
