The Cowan Blackhawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-62 victory over Daleville. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cowan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Timmy Watson, who scored 21 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Watson has scored at least 25% of Cowan's points. Another player making a difference was Bradley Terrell, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.

Cowan's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Daleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
