The victory was some much needed relief for Roanoke Rapids as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Shaniah Daniels continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a triple-double on 20 points, 18 rebounds, and nine blocks. Daniels is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Alexis Bednarczyk was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Northern Nash's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against D.H. Conley, falling 72-40. Roanoke Rapids' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10. As for Northern Nash, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
