They put the hurt on Glen Burnie with a sharp 58-32 victory. Given Broadneck's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Glen Burnie is ranked 105th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Broadneck's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brianna Snowden led the charge by scoring nine points along with ten rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Miller, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Broadneck's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Glen Burnie, they bumped their record down to 4-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Broadneck will be playing at home against Crofton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crofton is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
