Tri-Central hasn't had much luck against Eastern recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will welcome the Comets at 5:30 p.m. Tri-Central has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Claire Conrad made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, Eastern entered their tilt with Lewis Cass on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 17-6 margin over the Kings. Considering the Comets have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Ava Roberson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Roberson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Emillia Andrews was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Mackenzea Causey was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Eastern was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. They are 6-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Tri-Central now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
Eastern's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Tri-Central has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Eastern, though, as they've been averaging 9.6 hits. Given Tri-Central's sizable advantage in that area, the Comets will need to find a way to close that gap.
